About this timer

The Clockfresh online timer is a free, ad-free browser countdown timer with presets, fullscreen mode, five alert sounds and offline support after caching. Use it for cooking, studying, workouts, focus sessions and meetings: pick a preset and adjust with +1:00, press start, and Clockfresh counts down with big, easy-to-read digits. A running timer is saved in your browser, so it survives a reload and follows you to other Clockfresh pages as a small floating widget. There are no ads and no sign-up.

Embed a timer on your site

Add the lightweight five-minute timer to a class page, workshop agenda or team document. It runs locally and includes a small Clockfresh attribution link by default.

Questions

Does the timer keep running if I switch tabs?
Yes. The timer is based on the real clock, so switching tabs or returning after a browser pause shows the correct remaining time. Keep the tab open for the finish sound and notification.
Will it make a sound when it finishes?
Yes. Choose one of five alert sounds before you start. When the timer finishes, the selected sound repeats until you press Stop alert or Reset; the Repeat setting can limit it to one or three plays instead.
Can I use the timer offline?
Yes, after the page has been cached on your device. Install Clockfresh or revisit once while online, then the timer shell can load without a connection.
How do I keep the timer visible beside other work?
Use fullscreen for a room display. On supported browsers, the floating-window button opens the same timer above other windows. If that option is unavailable, keep the normal browser window visible.
Does sharing synchronise a running timer?
A setup link shares a duration, not live start or pause commands. Each browser controls its own session. Use a countdown to a fixed date and time when everyone needs the same target moment.

Offline
After one successful visit, this route can reopen from the service-worker cache. Keep the tab or installed app open for sound and live state.
Browser limits
Browsers cannot guarantee sound after a tab or app is closed. Allow audio, keep it open, and use a native alarm as backup for critical timing.
