How this tool fits the task
This page opens with ten minutes for one talk or rehearsal. Use the browser window on a lectern or a second display; fullscreen and a native floating window are different display options.
Try this workflow
- Rehearse a ten-minute talk: select 10:00, start, and pause when reviewing notes.
- For the audience screen, move the browser to that display before entering fullscreen. The floating-window button is available only in supported browsers.
- Reset between speakers. Use the stage timer for an agenda that advances through named segments automatically.
Questions
- Can I control the display from another device?
- No. There is no remote controller. A shared setup copies settings, not live playback or pause commands.
- Can I rely on a cue while the laptop sleeps?
- Keep the device awake and the page open for cues. The countdown catches up when the browser resumes, but a sound during sleep is not guaranteed.
